Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the EmirateFicancent platform, including creating an account, submitting loan applications, uploading documents, managing an existing loan, and communicating with our team (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding financial agreements to use the Services. EmirateFicancent offers financing to applicants worldwide, but eligibility for a specific loan product depends on factors such as residency, income, and the requirements set out for that product.

2. Your account

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and throughout the application process, and to keep that information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Applications and decisions

Submitting a loan application does not guarantee approval. All applications are subject to review, eligibility checks, and credit assessment. EmirateFicancent reserves the right to approve, decline, or request further information for any application, at its sole discretion and in accordance with applicable law.

Where an application is approved, the specific terms of your loan, including the amount, profit rate or fees, tenure, and repayment schedule, are set out in your individual loan contract and Key Facts Statement, which take precedence over these Terms for anything specific to your loan.

4. Documents and information you provide

You agree that any document or information you upload or submit through the platform is genuine, accurate, and belongs to you or that you are authorized to submit it. Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information may result in application rejection, account suspension or termination, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

5. Repayments

You agree to make repayments in accordance with your loan contract. If you anticipate difficulty making a repayment, contact our support team as early as possible, options such as a payment deferral or restructuring may be available depending on your circumstances. Missed or late payments may result in fees as outlined in your loan contract and may affect your credit standing.

6. Communications

By using the Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, including by email and through your dashboard, relating to your application, your loan, and service or security notices. You may contact our support team through your dashboard, the contact form on our Support page, or by email.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting to access another user's account, interfering with the platform's operation, or using the Services for any unlawful purpose. See our Acceptable Use Policy for further detail.

8. Intellectual property

The platform, including its design, content, and underlying technology, is owned by EmirateFicancent or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written consent.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, EmirateFicancent is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, provide false information, or if required by law or regulatory direction. You may close your account at any time by contacting our support team, subject to any outstanding obligations under an active loan.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in our jurisdiction of operation, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operating practices. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
